With broad experience in architecture, including management of design and production departments, Rick's expertise includes facility designs for offices, fire/emergency services, warehouses, animal care, transportation, and recreation and parks for private and government clients. He has additional education in sustainable design, ADA compliance design, roofing systems, design/build project management and mediation. Rick is also a nationally recognized animal shelter design consultant and has served as an animal care facility design workshop leader for The Humane Society of the United States, the Pet Care Services Association, and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Rick is a licensed architect in 20 states. He is a Florida licensed General Contractor and is certified by the State of California as a Safety Assessment Program evaluator. Rick is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force making Bacon Group, Inc. a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). |

Ken has an extensive background in building construction, ranging from structural design, preparation of drawings and specifications to construction administration. His experience also includes civil engineering for highways, bridges, subdivisions, water and sewer facilities, and waterfront improvements. Ken has supervised design offices and construction inspection personnel on projects ranging from airports to recreation centers. |
