It will provide space to house up to 60 large dogs, 20 small dogs and 100 cats that are available for adoption. Also included are a two-table spay-and-neuter surgery suite, medical triage area, and small reception and office areas.
The new 12,650 square foot Adoption Center will feature seamless resinous flooring in the animal housing areas, structural glazed block walls, and individual self-flushing trench-drain system in the dog kennels, multi-zoned HVAC system, and a central cleaning system. S3 Shelters - The Small Shelter Solution |
| Bacon Group is proud to introduce the design solution for the small animal shelter...S3 Shelters.
S3 Shelters are pre-designed, expandable plans starting with a base model that is 3,920 square feet and includes all the function areas required for an animal shelter operation.
Additional modules, such as a spay-neuter clinic or more canine housing, can be added to accommodate different needs.
These small, versatile designs are adaptable to other uses such as boarding facilities or veterinary medical hospitals. Three architectural styles are currently available—Coastal, Craftsman and Mediterranean—and a contemporary look is on the way. A basic model with simple exterior and interior finishes is also available.
The pre-designed plans are available for purchase, which represents a significant savings over a total custom design. Some restrictions do apply, so contact us for more information about S3 Shelters.
